Haven't we all heard at least one song or soundtrack that marked a given moment or period in the epic of our collective lives? And afterwards when listening again, don't we know when that brilliant instrumental passage or vocal dynamic, verse, chorus, break or vamp is coming?
In general we only know the artist and song title, maybe some lyrics, and as a rule we don't really know who facilitated these masterpieces beyond the artist on the label. We are unaware that there are unsung heros who's contributions have shaped the most impactful recordings of our time, influencing our culture and shaping the careers of the stars we know and love.
