AfterMaster Hollywood

big room editedAftermaster Audio Labs operates state-of-the-art recording and mastering facilities in Hollywood, California.
Our facility is located in the heart of Hollywood at the legendary Crossroads Of The World complex on Sunset Blvd., in the former production offices of the legendary director Alfred Hitchcock. The facility comprises seven recording and mastering studios, boardroom, lounge, production rooms and executive offices.

Cherokee

440px Cherokee Studios 1 edited blurCherokee Studios was an iconic and renowned recording facility in Hollywood, founded in 1972 and closed in August 2007. Now the esteemed Cherokee brand is returning with a new studio designed by owner, Bruce Robb...scheduled to open 2018.
 

EastWest

Located in the heart of Hollywood, the studios have given rise to some of the most celebrated music of the last fifty years, from Frank Sinatra to The Rolling Stones, and has produced more Grammy-winning albums than any other studio in the world. Now, this iconic complex has been brought into the 21st century by an astonishing collaboration between EastWest Sounds producer Doug Rogers and internationally renowned designer Philippe Starck.

Located just 25 minutes north of Hollywood, PLYRZ features a classic Neve 8048 recording console and rooms full of vintage instruments, outboard gear and microphones. PLYRZ has already hosted the likes of Wilco, Ryan Bingham, Court Yard Hounds, Ron SexsmithGrace Potter, Crowded House, Tedeschi Trucks BandGary Louris, Kathleen Edwards, Missy Higgins, Los Lobos and many more...

Skip Saylor

skip saylor control room editedSKIP SAYLOR RECORDING COMPANY, INC is a world class recording and mix facility originally located in the hollywood area and now operating in the San Fernando Valley. Founded in 1980, Skip Saylor's is in its 37th year of operation. During this time span, and previous to that when he was an independent engineer working in many of LA’s legendary studios, Saylor has been involved in every aspect of the business of making records. The name Skip Saylor is synonymous with quality and professionalism and his studio well-known as top level facilities where many gold and platinum artist and successful producers come to work on their musical projects.

Sphere LA

Sphere Studios Los Angeles Main Tracking Room editFrom the serene atmosphere to its uniquely designed architecture, this legendary facility has played host to some of music’s biggest artists for the past 20 years.

Beginning its journey in the recording industry in the early 90’s, the studio quickly became the favorite for music’s top bands and artists. From No Doubt to Alanis Morissette and Rage Against the Machine to Christina Aguilera, the halls were filled with some of music’s most iconic artists.

Sunset Sound

SunsetSoundRoom editedThe Sunset Sound Recorders complex was created by Walt Disney's Director of Recording, Tutti Camarata, from a collection of old commercial and residential buildings. At the encouragement of Disney himself, Camarata began the project in 1958, starting with a former automotive repair garage whose sloping floor would tend to reduce unwanted sonic standing wave reflections. Soon, the audio for many of Disney's early films was being recorded at the studio, including Bedknobs and BroomsticksMary Poppins, and 101 Dalmatians.

Over 200 Gold records have been recorded at Sunset Sound, including Prince's Purple Rainthe Rolling StonesExile on Main St.the Beach BoysPet SoundsLinda Ronstadt's Don't Cry Now, part of Guns N' RosesChinese DemocracyJanis Joplin's posthumously-released Pearl, and hit albums for Elton JohnLed Zeppelin and Van Halen. In addition, The Doors recorded their first two albums, The Doors and Strange Days, at the studio.
